The chronological sequence is as follows
1: URS----prepared by the user/buyer and given to selected venders it may be
detailed or broad outline
2:DQ: ----based on customer URS supplier design the equipment and give this
document to customer for verification it may include detailed specs of
material to be used and performance expected. ( also parallel quotation
based on this DQ )
3.---review of DQ by customer and corrections reported back to supplier to
freeze the DQ( and quotation).
4.FAT Stage 1: inspection of recd. materials required for fabrication i.e..
SS316 testing,
5 Stage 2: Equipment with pre finish , comments for minor
modification if required
6 Final : Before giving clearance for dispatch , with actual
trials at suppliers factory.
7 SAT: Putting the Equipment in place in the customers site and study the
suitability of general arrangements of power supply, utility , space for
movement etc
8 OQ : one by one confirmation of all control buttons functioning properly
etc..study results vis a vis DQ
9 PQ : Actual trial with material and study results vis a vis URS
