[RegAffairs]US requirements for plastic bags intended for storageof APIs

Dear all,

In US the requirements applicable to plastic containers used as 
primary packaging materials for drug products are included in USP 661.

Would the same monograph apply for the plastic bags used for storage 
of API (solid form) ? Or would compliance with food regulation be 
enough as it is the case in EU?
