Re: GMp requirements for pharmaceutical facility

Dear Mr. Bangash,

There is no book available which can guide you in 'designing' a
pharmaceutical facility. The laws of various countries state what they
require to be present in a facility and some books are available on how best
to manage a running facility. My suggestion would be to engage a consultant
who can design such a facility for you. I used to do precisely this facility
design work for many years before immersing myself completely in this
publishing business which leaves me no time for any other activity. I may be
able to help you in giving various suggestions from time to time as
required.

Meanwhile please visit this page
http://www.dcomoh.gov.pk/pharma/layoutplans.php where you can download some
sample layouts (Autocad files) which may be of some help initially.

Also visit http://www.ispe.org and particularly
http://www.ispe.org/Template.cfm?Section=Publications where various guides
are available for purchasing (although expensive). You may become a member
of ISPE and then have free access to lots of past articles in their magazine
'Pharmaceutical Engineering'. Normal membership is expensive but if you
become an Emerging Economy Member its only USD 30 per annum. For details
visit
http://www.ispe.org/Content/NavigationMenu/Join/Membership_Information/How_t
o_Join.htm

Hope this helps.

With best regards
