We are trying to introduce the concept of medicines management here in
the United Arab Emirates (UAE.) as part of our Family Medicine
initiative.
We are dealing with a predominantly Arabic speaking population but most
patients are bilingual which usually includes some English.
The "Brown Bag" medication review technique is an attractive model.
Have any of you got direct experience of using this technique in
hospital or primary health care; especially with non-English speaking
patients?
Pointers to relevant articles etc would be welcome.
