At the University of Sydney there are two pahrmacies on campus but no
direct link with the Pharmacy Department. Withinthe Pharmacy
Department is a division of "Pharmacy Practice". It is certainly
beneficial to the culture and research development in this departemnt
to have people there who still work part-time in community or
hospital pharmacy or who have recently worked ful-time. From my
experience, it permits a more practical approach to methodology.
