Re: Regulation of online Pharmacies

Can I stir up a can of worms or what?
I agree wholeheartedly that there must be a united voice for pharmacists to
help address these issues. Pharmacists have always been territorial for many
reasons.
I would like to see some of the state and national pharmacist groups merge to
form larger, more politically active ones. For example, ASHP, NACDS, PPAG,
ASCP, and other national groups could merge into say APhA then each one of
the previous groups would now be divisions within APhA representing their
respective interests.
We should be represented just as physicians are in the AMA with its various
specialty groups within it.
Can you imagine how much more responsive our legislators and respective state
boards would be just by all of us having a united organization?
