Re: Phenylbutazone- here in the US the only supply is for vet use (animals), and is still available. Given the entries--- re: side effects of this drug, it seems plausible to pursue other modalities. Once in a while I talk to an "old timer" that has kept a few tablets for gout attacks. Perhaps a reasonable alternative would be indomethacin or even prednisone on a short term basis. rlc USA |
