I am a pharmacy student from Austria. Currently I am based at
Stirling Royal Infirmary in Scotland (UK), where I am completing my
diploma thesis, "Clinical Pharmacy - Pharmaceutical care".
I would be grateful if you could assist my research by answering the
following questions:
1. Is ist possible to say Clinical Pharmacy is a part of Pharmaceutical Care?
2. I searched the Internet and found many definitions for Clinical
Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Care. In what terms would you define
Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Care?
3. Information I have gathered suggests Clinical Pharmacy was offered
first. This was followed by Pharmaceutical Care service. To your
knowledge, when were Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Care
introduced and from where did they originate?
4. I understand that Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Care have
now become widespread services. In which countries are Clinical
Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Care service currently provided?
