I am interested in converting our environmental data from a paper
based system to a computer based one (i.e. database). I am
wondering
if anyone has some advice on any good software packages that might
be
available to handle the record keeping needs of environmental
monitoring programs such as Exposure Plates, Quantitative Air,
Critical Sites, and Particulate monitoring programs as they are
performed in the pharmaceutical industry. Or if anyone has developed
their own in-house application using a database package such as
Microsoft Access or Oracle? For those of you using such a system
do
you prefer a P.C. platform, VAX, Mainframe?
