EUFEPS

EUFEPS was founded in 1991 with the mission to support the development of pharmaceutical sciences and innovative drug research in Europe, and currently links 23 member organisations in 20 countries.

EUFEPS is the only pan-European body to represent the interests of pharmaceutical scientists in industry, academia, government and other institutions engaged in drug research, development, regulation and policy making. To achieve these objectives, EUFEPS organizes short meetings on specialized themes, and every two years sponsors the European Congress of Pharmaceutical Sciences, in partnership with national affiliated organisations.

The Sixth Congress in Budapest in September 2000 follows five highly successful meetings held in Amsterdam (1992), Berlin (1994), Edinburgh (1996), Milan (1998) and Jerusalem (1999). The Federation has also established a regular Newsletter and the monthly European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences as a service to members and to the international community.
