SOCIAL PROGRAMME

The following Social Programme is offered as part of the Registration Package to all registered participants and accompanying persons. Tickets required for these social events will be issued upon arrival at the Registration Desk in Budapest. To apply for these two events simply complete the Registration Form*

  • Welcome Reception on the evening of Saturday, 16 September in the National Gallery of the Buda Castle
  • Danube Tour on the evening of Sunday, 17 September

*Please note: Deadline for reservation - It is regretted that reservations for the above social events cannot be guaranteed for registrations received after June 1, 2000.

ADDITIONAL SOCIAL PROGRAMME

Additional Social Programme events for delegates and accompanying persons can be booked by prior payment and will be scheduled according to demand as follows:

1. Sightseeing in the historic centre of Budapest. This half-day tour will be organised on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September in the morning or afternoon and can be booked by all. Please state your preference for date and time on the special Form.

2. On Tuesday afternoon 19 September delegates and accompanying persons can choose to be taken to a real Puszta Show near Budapest, where a typical Hungarian dinner will be served.

3. A whole-day Guided Tour to Lake Balaton on Sunday 17 or Monday 18 September will introduce participants to one of Europe's largest lakes, celebrated for its natural beauty. Lunch in a typical Hungarian restaurant is included. Please state your preference for date on the special Form.
