The University of Otago is New Zealand’s most research-intensive university. It is also the top-ranked university for research quality. The University wishes to appoint an exceptional individual to a new position leading research and teaching in Social Pharmacy.

The successful applicant will enhance the international reputation of the School, provide intellectual leadership, develop a strong research programme in social aspects of medicines and medicine usage, and provide leadership for the research-informed teaching of social pharmacy in the undergraduate and professional postgraduate degrees.

The appointee will have an outstanding research record with evidence of sustained productivity, teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, leadership and team-building abilities. Administration and management experience within an academic environment would be an advantage.
