Pracsys
is a drug information enquiry database used to log DI enquiries. It has been designed after extensive consultation with Drug
Information (DI) pharmacists. It has been designed with a simple, intuitive windows interface. Pracsys keeps a full archive of enquiries including their answers. Its powerful keywording (using the Pharm-line
thesaurus) and searching features mean that enquiries can be retrieved easily. The statistics and reporting section allows the production of common DI reports within any specified time period.
Pracsys has an export module which allows selected enquiries to be exported to PharmLine and this feature is used in South Thames to create a regional DI enquiry database on PharmLine.
