Why the PharmWeb Virtual Library?

The PharmWeb Virtual Library was developed as a result of a project initiated by Dr. Allen Kenyon. After a distinguished research career at the Monsanto, Co. in St. Louis, MO, Dr. Kenyon dedicated the last ten years of his life as a "volunteer worker" in the St. Louis laboratories of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration developing Thin Layer Chromatographic (TLC) pharmaceutical analytical techniques. It was his dream that these TLC analytical methods could be widely disseminated throughout the world to help empower people to defend themselves from unscrupulous persons marketing spurious and substandard products. The U.S. FDA Division of Testing and Applied Analytical Development approached PharmWeb earlier in the year to ask whether we would be interested in posting this information on PharmWeb. As a result we have developed the PharmWeb Virtual Library. Sadly, Dr. Allen Kenyon passed away in September, however, his goal has been achieved and his work is available to the world.
